The Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Patrons of the Arts Awards honors and recognises individuals, businesses, organisations and government entities that have demonstrated financial and in kind contributions towards the arts in Dubai through sustained support and promotion of artistic activity in the following disciplines: Visual Arts, Film, Literature and Performing Arts. The award was presented for support provided between 2007 until 2009.
